I’m a digital publisher and small business owner based in Guttenberg, New Jersey. After graduating from Baruch College, I spent the last three years building KartiKart.com, a minimalist jewelry brand that donates 5% of every sale to fighting human trafficking.

Along the way, I discovered a passion for building niche information sites that help people navigate topics that are often confusing, full of jargon, or buried behind paywalls. That passion turned into a growing network of free resource sites — each focused on a specific topic where I felt everyday people deserved better, more transparent information.

My approach is simple: research deeply, present clearly, and never charge for information that should be freely accessible.

Building Know Property Tax

I started Know Property Tax because almost every homeowner asks the same questions when their bill goes up – why did it go up, am I overpaying, how do I lower it, and which exemptions do I qualify for – and there was no neutral place that answered them with the real state and county numbers instead of a sales pitch. When you open a bill that jumped, you want a straight answer, not a funnel from the first service that ranks. The only options online were dense county government PDFs, thin tables with a single state average, and appeal-service pages built to sell you a packet. I built this site to be the homeowner-first authority on property tax: every state and county gets a guide with the real rate, median bill, appeal deadline, and exemptions; the appeal process gets explained step by step with the deadline you cannot miss; and there are free tools to check whether you are overpaying, estimate your tax, find your exemptions, and estimate an appeal. We are not a government agency and not a tax-appeal service. If you own a home and want to know whether you are overpaying and how to pay less before you talk to anyone, this is the resource I wish existed.
